Hero
Hero is the name of a priestess of Aphrodite who loved a man named Leander. He swam a straight every night to be with her and she put a candle in the window to guide his way. One stormy night the candle blew out. Leander was lost and Hero took her life. Hero is also a main character of the play Much Ado About Nothing.
