Lucifer
The name Lucifer means "lightbringer". It is of Latin origin from the words lux meaning "light" and ferre meaning "to carry". This name was used during Roman times to refer to the planet Venus which was also known as the Dawn Star.
In the Bible it is used as an alternative name to an enemy king and later folklore associated it with Satan.
